Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to look over this site. We hope that it gives you a flavour of our school and the wide range of experiences we offer our pupils. We aim to keep our website as current as possible in order that the information is up to date and relevant; whether you are new to our establishment or a current parent/carer.
Law Primary School and Nursery aims to create an effective and caring community based on our vision, values and principles of our School Charter. We are committed to developing the potential of all pupils and staff in an atmosphere and ethos of trust, co-operation and mutual respect in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.

We look forward to making you welcome!
We are looking forward to the start of the new session on Thursday, 16th August 2018 when we hope to see all pupils returning to school. We will be welcoming our new P1 children and their families on this special day according to the phased start times sent to you in June.
For our P4 children, please remember that they will be expected to pay for lunches from the start of term. All lunches and excursions/ activities will be paid for through ParentPay. If you are having difficulty accessing this, please contact the school office for help and advice. Pay Point payment card options are available.
We have been updating the gallery section of our website to archive photographs from last session. These are still available on the general 'Gallery' tab but the pupil pages are currently empty to leave room for next session's photographs. We hope to have up-to-date photographs on these pages as soon as possible in the new term. Thank you for your patience.
For parents of nursery children who will be attending full day sessions from August, you can view the lunch menu for nursery children on the Nursery page.

4 of our P6 girls attended the South Lanarkshire Primary Singing Showcase this afternoon. The event was held in the Town House, Hamilton as a celebration of talent from across the region. Thank you to Mrs Kerr for taking the girls along and supporting them and the choir during this school session. Well done! Please click here to see them at the Town House.
Thank you to our fabulous PTA, staff and volunteers for their efforts in making our Summer Fayre such a success. Despite the awful weather, they raised £585.88 - a super result!
The SLC Library Summer Challenge is running over the summer. Children are asked to read 6 books over the holidays and they can gain stickers, rewards and a medal. The children can register for free at any South Lanarkshire Library from 16th June.
Thank you to the PTA for raising about £1000 in the last month. What a great achievement! This is down to the hard work of a few willing helpers, we really appreciate your efforts.
Please come and support your PTA at the next event: our Summer Fayre.
Law Primary School is taking part in The Big Battery Hunt. Please fill your boxes with used batteries and bring back to school to be recycled. There is a big battery drop off container in the Office area if you have any friends or relatives who would like to recycle their batteries, please spread the word that they can be dropped off at school. Good luck and thank you for your support!
