Cameron Weir won the Website launch competition with a great acrostic poem. Well done!
Literacy – For writing we will be learning how to create a fiction story by developing the setting and characters. In reading, we will be working on the comprehension of the story by answering questions about the events and characters in our books.
Numeracy – This term room 6 be developing strategies to add and subtract mentally. We will also be learning how to multiply and divide by 3 and 4.
Topic – Our topic for term 3 is ‘Our Community’ and we will be learning about how Law Village has changed over the years. In Science, we will be learning about ‘Our Bodies’ and function of skeleton and major organs.
HWB – Room 6 will be learning about inclusion and why it is so important that everyone in our school feels included.
Term 3 in PE will focus on developing the physical competencies of body movement, balance & control and flexibility. This will be taught through gymnastics whereby attention will be given to weight on hands, climbing, hanging and swinging. Please note for the safety of all pupils it is important that your child has secure fitting, non-slip indoor shoes and removes all jewellery for these sessions. Loose and/or long hair should also be tied back.
